F1 Singapore Sprint: Verstappen Prevails Amid Chaos, Ferrari on the Podium. Kimi Antonelli Thanks McLaren’s Self-Destructive Move

Just like in Sepang, Max Verstappen triumphed amid the chaos. The Red Bull driver won the sprint race at the Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix, which started late due to poor track conditions—the track was flooded in several spots because of heavy rain. The four-time world champion was overtaken at the start of the race by George Russell, who, however, crashed into the wall after two laps, ruining his race.
The Dutch driver then retook the lead and never relinquished it, holding off the two Ferraris driven by Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc, who finished second and third, respectively.
Everything went well for Kimi Antonelli: the driver from Bologna, who was struggling with the new updates on his Mercedes, finished in fourth place after the disastrous collision between the two McLarens driven by Piastri and Norris, which took themselves out of the race on the final lap. The World Championship leader thus consolidated his lead over Russell (+89), who remained at zero points after the crash at the start. Also in the Top 10 were Lawson, Bearman, Hulkenberg, Norris, Gasly, and Ocon.
