Olimpia Milano suffered its ninth EuroLeague loss, falling at home to Valencia after a roller-coaster game. After a decidedly poor start, Poeta’s team turned the game around by dominating the second and third quarters, only to collapse badly in the final stretch, giving up 33 points in the last 10 minutes in front of a stunned Forum crowd.

Olimpia’s top scorers were Bolmaro with 16 points and Diop with 11. Former player Armoni Brooks also scored 16 points, though Taylor was the game’s leading scorer with 17.

After the game, Coach Peppe Poeta struggled to explain the loss to Euroleague TV: “Honestly, this is the fourth game in a row we’ve lost in the same way. We were tied with three minutes left, and on the final possession of the game, we struggled to find the basket. That’s what’s been happening, and we need to fix it.”
