Paul Pogba has yet to make his debut in a Juventus jersey since returning to Turin this summer. After a nearly six-month ordeal, the finish line for the French midfielder seems close. On Tuesday, the transalpine player took the field with Juve’s Under 23 team to test the condition of his knee. The responses were positive.

Massimiliano Allegri, however, does not want to take risks and prefers caution given the possibility of relapse for the former Manchester United midfielder. As reported by the “Gazzetta dello Sport,” the Bianconeri coach will evaluate the final training session for the challenge against Nantes. Should the answers be completely positive then the Frenchman could be in the call-ups already for the return leg of the Europa League playoffs. If not, he is heading toward his return in the league derby with Torino.
