Genoa did not miss its chance to move back to second place in the cadet series standings: engaged Monday night at the Ferraris against Cosenza, the Ligurian team scrambled the Calabrians with a heavy 4-0 win.
Gilardino’s men, who went to rest on the minimal lead thanks to Dragusin, ramped up in the second half with goals signed by Gudmundsson, Puscas and Jagiello.
In the standings Genoa now has 50 points, 11 less than leading Frosinone, one more than Bari and three more than revelation Sudtirol. Cosenza holds the tail-end spot with 26 points.
