Another striker prods Mancini
After Balotelli and Petagna, Pinamonti also stings Mancini
After the recent statements by Mario Balotelli and Andrea Petagna, another Azzurri center forward has pricked Italy’s coach Roberto Mancini. In fact, Andrea Pinamonti, awarded in Milan on the occasion of the “Friend of Children” award, confessed that he was a bit annoyed by the national team coach’s call-ups for the two challenges valid for qualification for the upcoming European Championships.
“Retegui in the national team? It bothered me a little bit. It definitely bothered a bit, yes. Especially for a player who aspires to a call-up to the national team. At the same time, however, it becomes an incentive to do better. I’m not the right person to judge the choices that are made,” Pinamonti closed.
