Gp Austin, Miguel Oliveira categorical about Marc Marquez
MotoGp, Oliveira no pun intended: “With Marquez case closed”
During the press conference presenting the Austin GP, Miguel Oliveira spoke about his condition and expectations for this weekend in Texas. “I couldn’t open my leg and fix it on the bike without feeling a lot of pain. Giving up the Argentine GP was tough, if it hadn’t been so close in Portimao maybe I would have been able to recover in time, but I’m thankful I didn’t get seriously hurt after the crash. I’m working hard to find the right confidence with the bike. Getting points in these races would give me a lot of confidence,” said the Portuguese rider.
In addition, the ApriliaRNF centaur also commented on Marc Marquez: “Marquez and I cleared up after the accident, he came to the medical center to inquire about my condition, explained what happened and apologized. For me the case is closed. Since then I have not paid attention to the matter related to his penalty. I hope he will be able to come back soon to race together with us on the track,” Oliveira added.
