Olimpia Milano, Kevin Pangos defers to Virtus Bologna
Kevin Pangos’ words.
Kevin Pangos in Repubblica took stock of Olimpia Milano, starting with the relationship with Napier: “With Shabazz we talked a lot. We’re fine when we alternate in directing, but it’s also nice when we play together and manage to get the trust of our teammates by putting them in a position to express themselves at their best individually. We face the final part of a season that has experienced up and down moments with many different options and possibilities.”
“The Euroleague is unfortunately over for us but it is useless to look back, to think about the injuries suffered. The Italian league is very competitive and in the playoffs the great mutual knowledge makes every game a real fight. It would not be smart on our part to look too far ahead without fully focusing on the single series. But, in the end, for sure Virtus is the strongest opponent.”
