Pioli’s Rossoneri, fresh from two consecutive draws but also from qualifying for the Champions League semifinals, returned to success thanks to the Portuguese, who unblocked the result with a header in the 40th minute on the development of a corner and closed the score in the 75th minute with a personal aziene of his own and left-footed shot into the corner.
Milan thus hooked Roma at least for one night in fourth place in the standings.
