Golf, Brooks Koepka wins PGA Championship
The American had already won in 2018 and 2019
Thanks to an excellent final round (67 strokes), Koepka won the 2023 edition of the PGA Championship, putting him behind compatriot Scheffler and Norway’s Hovland. For Koepka, this is the third PGA Championship won in his career, following triumphs accrued in 2018 and 2019.
This latest success, however, has a different flavor. It is, in fact, the first won since he decided to play for LIV Golf, the super-alloy that stands on Arab funding. After finishing second at the last Masters, Koepka won his first Major as an LIV player. The American also becomes the 20th outfielder to win at least five majors in his career.
