Mauro Icardi revisits Serie A: three clubs on his trail
His contract with Galatasaray expires in June 2024
After as many as four years away from Italy (three seasons at PSG and one at Galatasaray), Icardi could return to play in Serie A. The former Sampdoria and Inter Milan striker is reportedly being followed by as many as three Italian clubs.
Now 30 and with a contract expiring with Galatasaray in June 2024, Maurito remains a center forward who can score goals. Roma would be thinking seriously about him, but also watch out for AC Milan (they need a quality reinforcement who can give Giroud a hand) and Napoli, especially if Osimhen were to pack his bags. The Argentine would be well willing to make a return to Serie A after a complicated farewell from Inter in the summer of 2019.
