Genoa, not only Aaron Martin: ready another low-cost reinforcement from Serie A
Genoa, Roberto Gagliardini is being evaluated for the midfield
One of Genoa’s targets ahead of the summer soccer session will be a midfield reinforcement, complicit with the possible goodbyes of Strootman and Sturaro. The Grifone would be carefully evaluating several profiles of both experience and prospects.
According to a report in the local newspaper “Il Secolo XIX,” one name that has reportedly been gaining momentum is Roberto Gagliardini, who will leave Inter Milan on a zero-parameter basis after seven seasons and 190 games played. The former Atalanta man would be a welcome reinforcement for Alberto Gilardino, as he would guarantee that experience that is essential to face the return to Serie A in the best possible way.
Genoa, however, will have to deal with competition from several Italian clubs, Lazio and Monza above all. The main alternatives to the 1994-born midfielder would be two prospective profiles namely Enzo Barrenechea and Matteo Prati.
