Alvaro Bautista back on Ducati MotoGp: “Impressive”
Alvaro Bautista impressed by the feeling with the Desmosedici
Alvaro Bautista expressed great satisfaction at the end of a day of testing at the Misano Adriatico circuit, riding a Ducati Desmosedici that the Borgo Panigale-based manufacturer uses for the MotoGp World Championship.
The Superbike world champion (who had not ridden a Ducati MotoGp since 2018) highlighted the immediate feeling with the bike that is the absolute protagonist of the premier class of MotoGP: “I am very happy to have been able to ride this bike again,” said the veteran Spaniard. “The difference between Superbike and MotoGp is really impressive in practically every area, from acceleration to braking, passing through aerodynamics and power. I am happy because the feeling was good from the first laps and I understood the bike very well, I had a lot of fun.”
Bautista, born in 1984, has raced nine seasons in MotoGp, with his best championship result being 5th place, with Honda, in 2012. Since 2019, he has been active in Superbike, where he won, on Ducati, the 2022 World Championship and is dominating the 2023 season (only wins in the first five rounds, except for a retirement in the Indonesia Superpole Race).
