MotoGp Netherlands GP: Pecco Bagnaia triumphs, is tricolor one-two with Marco Bezzecchi
At Assen Pecco Bagnaia wins ahead of Marco Bezzecchi
The tricolor is still waving in Assen, as far as MotoGp is concerned: Pecco Bagnaia, on an official Ducati, in fact won the Dutch Grand Prix, winning with authority in front of Marco Bezzecchi (Ducati Mooney VR46). First two positions therefore reversed compared to Saturday’s Sprint race, won precisely by ‘Bez’ on the reigning world champion.
To complete the podium the first of the non-Ducatisti, Aleix Espargaró (Aprilia), followed in the top 10 by Brad Binder (KTM), Jorge Martin (Ducati Prima Pramac), Alex Marquez (Ducati Gresini), Luca Marini (Ducati Mooney VR46), Takaaki Nakagami (Honda LCR Hidemitsu), Franco Morbidelli (Yamaha) and Augusto Fernandez (KTM).
Fall and subsequent retirement for Jack Miller (KTM), Johann Zarco (Ducati Prima Pramac), Fabio Quartararo (Yamaha) and Enea Bastianini (Ducati). Fabio Di Giannantonio (Ducati Gresini), Iker Lecuona (Honda) and Miguel Oliveira (Aprilia RNF) also did not finish the race, again due to crashes.
In the standings, Bagnaia stretches his lead to 194 points, 35 more than Martin and 36 against Bezzecchi.
