From Spain sure: Nikola Mirotic wants Olimpia Milano

The 32-year-old former NBA player has a contract with the blaugrana until 2025

According to Mundo Deportivo, Mirotic is reportedly very close to playing with Coach Messina’s Olimpia Milano. The 32-year-old Serbian star would have said no to so many offers, precisely because his preferred destination would be AX.

The real obstacle is the existing contract between Mirotic and Barcelona. The former NBA player has, in fact, an agreement with the Blaugrana until 2025 and, at the moment, it is unclear how and if he will be able to get out of the contract (it is not excluded that the case could end up in court).

Until a few days ago, Mirotic seemed destined to play in Greece, wearing the Olympiacos jersey but, in the end, the Serbian decided to decline the offer, as he was not convinced at the idea of moving his whole family to Greece. The feeling is that he prefers Italy. Olimpia Milano, for the moment, remains silent even though, after Davies’ (Valencia) farewell, a big shot like Mirotic’s would bring a lot of enthusiasm to the biancorosso environment.
