Lewis Hamilton is not thinking about retirement at all: “In the coming months we will focus on 2023”

Lewis Hamilton is not thinking about Formula 1 retirement at all. After the first complicated months, Mercedes is closing the gap to Ferrari and Red Bull, and is ready to give battle in the second half of the World Championship and especially in 2023. The seven-time world champion, in particular, is more motivated than ever.

“We are still learning a lot from this car,” Hamilton explained to As. “We are working on it. I know exactly what I want for next year’s car and we have already talked about it. In the coming months we will focus on that. We are not as close as we would like to be, but we were only 10 seconds apart in France. And we both beat the other Red Bull at Paul Ricard.”
