Jannik Sinner champion in Beijing: dispelled tabù Daniil Medvedev

Jannik Sinner breaks the tabù Daniil Medvedev and becomes champion of the Beijing ATP 500. After six losses in as many matches, the Italian beat the Russian tennis player, the tournament&#39s number two seed, for the first time with a double 7-6 after two hours of play.

A very balanced match that saw the South Tyrolean tennis player prevail only thanks to two tie-breaks. In the first set é Sinner first to save break ball (the only one conceded during the whole match), although on 4-3 in his favor, it was up to the Russian to save two in a row, thanks also to bad mistake with the smash of Jannik. It thus comes to the tie-break, dominated by Sinner, who closes for 7 points to 2.

In the second set è again the number one Italian tennis player comes close to the break, but Medvedev saves another time. It thus proceeded 'on serve' with both players conceding crumbs on serve, until the tie-break. Here Sinner è again mastered and won it by the same score (7-2), giving himself the title.

For Jannik Sinner, who from Monday will equal his best ranking, becoming number 4 in the world rankings, this is the ninth career title, the third of the season, after the Montpellier ATP 250 and the Toronto Masters 1000.
