Collin Morikawa è returned to success and was able to celebrate his sixth career title on the PGA Tour. 

In Japan, the American, who is of Japanese and Chinese descent, won the ZOZO Championship with a score of 266 (64, 73, 66, 63/ -14): he did so by edging out by six strokes his compatriots Eric Cole and Beau Hossler, both of whom were second with 272 (-8). 

It had been since November 2021, when he won the DP World Tour Championship in Dubai, that Morikawa had failed to triumph in a professional tournament. "I knew that sooner or later this joy would come: è a wonderful feeling, equivalent to a'feat in a Major" he recounted happily.
