Federica Brignone è ready to make her debut in the women’s giant slalom in Soelden, the first round of the Alpine Ski World Cup. The athletes have not been able to ski on the eve of the race, but the Valdostana è confidence is good.

"Today we could not do the free skiing on the slope, for’we went out of the hotel. The’important thing was to get in the right conditions, they are grooming the slope, hopefully it will ice well tonight. I like it when the slope è nice hard, in Hintertux we found in the past few days difficult conditions, we are ready in all cases".

"In the last 15 days I have been among other things a few days at the beach, in Italy it was still summer, I had time to disconnect and do a good athletic preparation before coming to Soelden, I will tryò to take with me the good feelings experienced in Argentina". 

"When it comes to competing I am always happy, for sure there are so many shifts from one side to the other also this season, sometimes you could organize the calendar differently, forò there are situations that we female athletes have to understand and adapt accordingly. You will see me in all the giants and super-giants, for the rest we will seeà week after week", are the words reported by Fisi.
