Valentino Rossi, the first time on a prototype: how è it went
First time for Valentino Rossi: at the Rookie Test in Bahrain, the Doctor è got behind the wheel of Team Wrt’s Oreca 07 prototype, Lmp2 class, with a view to a participation in the World Endurance Championship in 2024.
The nine-time motorcycle world champion strongly wanted this experience, and he ran 67 laps without encountering any problems, finishing with a positive time of 1:55.118, about eight tenths behind teammate Charles Weerts.
Valentino’s next step è testing in the Hypercar class: he may try the Bmw M Hybrid V8, which will debut in 2024.
