Milan, Olivier Giroud speaks clear on the future
Olivier Giroud gave a long interview to the microphones of 'Le Journal De Dimanche' in which he also spoke about his future. "No, I am not eternal. As long as my body allows me, I try to go beyond the limits, I don't set myself any. I am really a lover of the game and I am not ready to stop. I still have gas, right?".
So he è unbalanced on the future: "As of now, I would like to stay at Milan. I’m on a contract expiration date and I haven’t talked to the club yet. I want to continue and I think I have what it takes to do so. I was already a Big Milan fan in the 2000s. For me è it was a blessing to join them. What I have achieved during my career goes far beyond my childhood dream. I have no regrets. I would do exactly the same thing".
"Never seen such a thingì. Italians, the 'fans' as they are called, are incredible – continued the Rossoneri’s center forward. There's really fervor, passion, love for the club, for the colors… For my part, I try to keep it simple, natural. Nobody è nobody is perfect, far from it. We all make mistakes along the way. The proof è that last weekend (in Lecce, ed.) I got my second yellow card after a bad reaction. Even if you don't insult the referee, there are always times when you have to know how to contain yourself. This shows that I am human. But è of course we have to be an example and è a pleasure to be recognized even by a good number of French".
"Do I think already; about the next European Championship? I am not looking too far ahead. My goal è to have a great season with Milan and win the second star, which would be synonymous with Milan° s 20th scudetto. It wonè t be easy, but we believe in it. Do well in the Champions League, win the European Championship with France, and then we will take stock" he commented on the seasonal goals.
