Brindisi, Dragan Sakota has a new point guard

Happy Casa Brindisi announced that it has signed until the end of the sports season the athlete Loren Cristian Jackson, 172-centimeter American point guard born in Chicago on December 15, 1996.

After spending his college career between Long Beach State (2016-17) and Akron (2018-21), named player of the year as a junior in the Mid-American Conference at 19.8 points and 4.5 assists per game, he began his professional career two years ago in Europe in the French top league.

In Roanne he showed all his leadership qualities, experiencing a convincing season as a leader at 14.9 points, 5.9 assists and 1.5 rebounds. Stats he also confirmed last season in the Adriatic League with SC Derby, averaging 15.5 points and 5.5 assists shooting 41% from two, 39% from three and 89% at the free.

In the summer, the return to France, to Gravelines-Dunkerque, where in nine Betclic Elite games he scored 12.6 points and 3.3 assists per game, recording the season high in the FIBA Europe Cup with a 27-point, 4-assist performance in the home win last Oct. 18 in the home victory over Leiden.

Loren Jackson will landà in Brindisi next week to join the Biancoazzurro group ahead of the upcoming championship commitments.
