Eighth win in the A1 series, the fourth consecutive, for Allianz Vero Volley Milano which defeated with a dry 0-3 (21-25; 18-25; 22-25) Roma Volley Club in the ninth day of the championship. Compared to the lineup that took the court against Chieri, there’è some changes for coach Gaspari with Orro – Egonu as diagonal opposite setter, pair of setters composed by Sylla and Bajema, Rettke-Candi as middle hitters and Castillo libero.
Egonu opens the match for Allianz Vero Volley Milan with an excellent wall. Gaspari’s girls find the first break on 2-5 but Roma immediately responds and finds the overtake (8-7).
