Milan, spectacular counter-attack: Jovic makes Pioli exult

Milan’s external blow: Stefano Pioli’s team expelled Frosinone 3-2 at the end of a thrilling match and further consolidated its third place in the standings by moving up to 49 points, -4 from second-placed Juventus. Luka Jovic’s goal from the bench was decisive; Frosinone remains stuck in 14th place on 23 points.

First half of great intensity but with few highlights, everything happens in 8 minutes: on 16' Giroud unlocks the result with a precise header on Rafael Leao's assist, on 24' Soulé equalizes on a penalty kick awarded for a hand foul by the same Leao in the Rossoneri area. The Diavolo after the hosts’ equalizer struggled to find continuity in its maneuver, to be recorded only a shot-cross by Leao well defused by Turati.

Great start to the second half for Frosinone, while Milan dropped conspicuously: at 64' the Ciociari deservedly found the lead with Mazzitelli. A precise verticalization by Soulé draws the captain who diagonally pierces Maignan.

Milan’s reaction è vehement, while Frosinone went into suffering: at 72' Gabbia equalized on Giroud’s bank, at 81'81; Jovic, who had just entered for Pulisic, took advantage of a lucky rebound and in the turn put the Diavolo back ahead. At the triple whistle another three points for the Rossoneri, who are getting closer and closer to qualifying for the next Champions League.
