Outside blow for Dinamo Sassari in Venice in the 22nd day of the championship. The Sardinians won 78-71 and thus climb to 20 points in the standings, putting the playoff zone in their sights. Coach Nenad Markovic praised his team: "The most important game è is always the next one so we project ourselves on the one with Brescia. I am happy because we brought a great spirit on the court, we did not play well in the first quarter but then we fought great". 

"We executed the game plan, we had some problems moving the ball but we were good at punishing the Venice defense where we wanted to. Great win,  I am very happy for the guys".

On the fight for the playoffs: "For now we don’t think about it, they were good they changed their face and attitude their way of working è changed and because of that the results also changed. That è what matters most. The road è still long, the championship è long, there are eight games left and we face them one at a time".

Stephane Gombauld finished with 22 points: "We are very happy with the win, conceding only 71 points to a team against Venice at the end of a strange game. We were coming from the win over Bologna that gave us great confidence. During the week we worked well, with conviction. Now we go on like thisì one game at a time with confidence in our means".
