Charles Leclerc has no illusions in Australia
The words of Charles Leclerc
Charles Leclerc spoke from Albert Park where the Australian Grand Prix will be staged this weekend. Waiting to take the track for the first free practice, the Monegasque Ferrari driver spoke to journalists present in Melbourne.
"We expect, in all honesty, to be more or less where we were in Saudi Arabia: fast in qualifying and a little less in the race, in the confrontation with Red Bull. They are the team to beat, it will be up to us to try to get closer and take advantage of what the weekend will give us.
Also returning to Australia will be Carlos Sainz: "How do I look? Will be able to tell tomorrow, G strength will beà a variable to consider but I feel ready. I did everything I could to recover and be at the start of the weekend. I pushed hard to be there and now è it’s time to get in the car and see how I feel".
"Definitely won’t be 100 percent, because I haven’t been able to train as much as I would have liked, but still I have been undergoing enough preparation to compete here in Australia. I am convinced I can put together a good weekend and the goal è to challenge the Red Bulls".
