Ducati: Marc Marquez wants official team and speaks out
Marc Marquez’s confidence with Team Gresini’s Ducati is growing exponentially. After Sunday’s splendid race in Jerez, the Catalan rider closed Monday’s tests with a smile, confirming the excellent feeling over the weekend. The impression è that Marquez has only now begun to have fun and enjoy the bike: "The day è went well, especially becauseé I felt comfortable and fast from’the beginning".
"Thereò that I felt most satisfied with are the comments. Unlike the tests in Malaysia and Qatar, where everything was more vague because I didné t know the bike, today everything è was more direct and the comments were accurate. From the start I had things clear, this allowed us to advance a bit’ and now we feel even moreù comfortable with this Ducati", are the words reported by corsedimoto.
"We tried small details that the factory riders are already testing, they wanted to reconfirm two or three things, which I was very happy about. The most important thing è that without knowing their comments were very similar to mine".
Marc Marquez is aiming for a factory team, even Ducati, and he is not hiding: "There have been dialogues with various manufacturers, but I know very well what I want. I have clear ideas and I don’t have just one option. The moreù you go fast on the track, the moreù options you will have. The important thing, and what I try to focus on, è not only being fast, but also being precise and helping with whatever they ask me. And from thereì we will see".
