A shock start, an excellent comeback, then the final folly.

Milan-Genoa ended 3-3 in front of a San Siro crowd that was dumbfounded from the start of the game and saw the Rossoneri put twice under by the Grifone, able to come back and then suffer the new, final equalizer in a disastrous defensive harakiri in the final minutes of the match. With the Champions League already acquired, the Diavolo’s slow march toward the end of the season continues (only 3 points in the last 4 games, the last victory in Serie A dates back to April 6 against Lecce), and the public protest continues.

In a stadium already silent due to the announced fan strike, Milan’s afternoon began as badly as it could not: at the first offensive initiative of the opponents, Tomori knocked out Vogliacco. È penalty, which Retegui converted on 5'. The reaction of the hosts è entrusted mainly to Pulisic, who hits the post. Then Reijnders tried as well, but Genoa did not stay on the sidelines: Frendrup’s turnaround conclusion, just wide. After three saves by Martinez on Leao, Pulisic and Theo Hernandez è then Florenzi signed the equalizer at 45', framing Chukwueze's assist into the net.

The match seemed straightened out, but Genoa started the second half with the same flair as in the first half. And in fact (after a nice chance by Thorsby) on 48'they went ahead again thanks to Ekuban, who was relentless with a header on a great action by Vogliacco on the right. Chukwueze’s new equaliser was cancelled out for offside, but Milan did not give up: again Chukwueze and Theo Hernandez looked for the goal, which came in 72' thanks to a header by Gabbia on Florenzi’s corner.

Not even time to update the scoreboard that Milan pack the overtake: thanks to Giroud, who on 75' collects Pulisic’s lob and left-footed volley inside the goal. For the Rossoneri, a return to victory seems just a step away, but at 88'88; Thorsby looks for Retegui in the box and Tomori deflects onto Thiaw a ball that then rolls over the goal line. È the final equalizer, which triggers even more protest at San Siro.
