In the Milan house, the coach toto continues to go crazy. In the last few hours, in fact, according to reports from Sky Sport, a new name is circulating to replace Stefano Pioli on the Rossoneri bench: it is Marcelo Gallardo, Argentine coach of Al-Ittihad, a club from Saudi Arabia that plays in the Saudi Pro League.
Gallardo, on the Al-Ittihad bench since last November, is vacating his rich contract (about 22 million euros net per season, ed.) that ties him to the Saudi club. Should he manage to settle it with a severance package, the Argentine coach would be free to find an understanding with a new club.
It remains to be understood the willingness of the Rossoneri management, which has already sounded out other foreign profiles such as Sergio Conceicao, current Porto coach, who forò è è is tied to the Dragons until 2028, and Paulo Fonseca, coach of Lille, and contended by several French clubs.
Gallardo coached River Plate for nine seasons, becoming the most successful coach in the Argentine club's history. With the red and white Gallardo won a whopping fourteen titles, including two Libertadores Cups, as well as being named South American Coach of the Year for three consecutive years (2018 to 2020).
