An uphill start to the weekend in Imola for Max Verstappen. After finishing seventh in the second free practice session, the Dutch driver did not hide his dissatisfaction with the poor feeling he had with his Red Bull and on the distance from Ferrari and McLaren greater than half a second.

"Today the car did not have the right balance, I never felt comfortable on the track. Everything è seemed more complicated than normal. We encountered difficulties both in time attack and when we switched to race pace simulation" began the three-time world champion.

"We have a lot of work to do to close the gap to Ferrari and McLaren. We hope for an improvement in the third free practice session, soì to arrive with confidence in qualifying, also becauseè it can hardly go worse than today" added Max Verstappen.
