The MINT Vero Volley Monza places a major blow: Osmany Juantorena will be part of the setter’s department of the Brianza team available to coach Massimo Eccheli for the 2024/2025 season.
Born in Cuba but naturalized Italian, Juantorenaè ready to live a new experience in the Italian league, after seasons with Trento (2009-2013), Civitanova (2015-2022) and Modena (2023-2024).
Juantorena’s formidable palmares include, among other trophies, 6 Italian Championships, 6 Italian Cups, 3 Champions Leagues and 5 Club World Cups. Osmany Juantorena è was a longtime captain of the Italian national team, for which he played until the Tokyo Olympics, and with which he won the historic Rio 2016 silver medal.
