Euro 2024, France: Kylian Mbappé out with Netherlands
Kylian Mbappé skips challenge with Holland
With just a few days to go before the challenge with the Netherlands, which is valid for the second day of Group D of Euro 2024, bad news comes from the infirmary for Didier Deschamps. According to reports from "Sky Sport" in fact, the France coach will have to do without Kylian Mpabbé for the match against the Oranje, due to the broken nose suffered by the Real Madrid player in the debut match against Austria.
As already anticipated by the French Football Federation, the former PSG player will not immediately undergo surgery, but will opt for conservative therapy by also making a protective mask that will allow him to return to the field and continue his adventure at Euro 2024.
Mbappé recovery time would still be uncertain, forò, in case of a positive result with the Netherlands that could allow the Blues to detach the pass for the round of 16, coach Didier Deschamps could decide to preserve his number 10 also in the last match of the round with Poland.
Good news is coming, however, regarding Olivier Giroud, who, after missing the last training session due to a muscle strain, is expected to return to the group already for today's session and be regularly available for the challenge with Holland.
