Pecco Bagnaia happy with Ducati, on Pramac stalls
Good feelings for the weekend, some unknowns in view of 2025.
Pecco Bagnaia is off to a great start to the Dutch Grand Prix weekend, proving to be the fastest in both Friday sessions at Assen. The Ducati bearer, however, could not avoid having his say on Pramac Racing’s move to Yamaha, after duels with Gino Borsoi’s team during this and last season.
"In recent years I have had the opportunityà to compare my data with those of a pilot of the highest level such as Jorge Martin,” Bagnaia stressed.
A situation that will now comeà less, and I canà not say what this will entail. For Ducati it will beà an important and different step, not necessarily worse. Gresini or VR46 instead of Pramac? I hope the latter".
"I am satisfied with the work we have been doing since the beginning of this season,” Bagnaia added, speaking about the Ducati factory team. “We have been able to start strong for five Fridays already, but it is the first time since 2018 that I am first already after the first day on the track. That’s why I’m really happy with how it’s going here in Assen".
That is precisely why there are no open questions with Ducati between now and the continuation of the weekend. " I don’t have any particular requests to make to the team, we are already well on our way. Only a few small details remain to be filed, also becauseé Assen è a complicated track in all possible aspects", concluded Bagnaia.
