Aeneas Bastianini puts Jorge Martin and Pecco Bagnaia in line
Virtually perfect weekend for Enea Bastianini at Silverstone. The Ducati centaur after winning Saturday’s sprint race was è confirmed on Sunday with a spectacular comeback that allowed him to finish ahead of the two contenders for the title, namely Jorge Martin and Pecco Bagnaia.
The reigning two-time world champion, conspicuously down in the final, è had to settle for third place, with the Spaniard overtaking him at the top of the rainbow standings by just three points.
At the foot of the podium finished Marc Marquez, also fourth in the world championship that after the August break will make a stop in Austin, Texas.
