These are the statements of Juventus coach Thiago Motta on the eve of the home match at the Allianz Stadium against PSV Eindhoven, valid for the first match of the new Champions League.
"I am proud to start this competition. Then we play at home against a good team. I can't wait to start this game. We want to give a great performance to bring the result on our side" began the Juventus coach.
"The important thing è to have respect for all the opponents we have faced and will challenge. We have to think only about us and what we have to do on the field. PSV è a team used to having great ball possession. We will have to be good at recovering the ball and take very good advantage of our chances. We have to make them play a different game" continued the former Bologna coach.
"We expect all from Koopmeiners what we expect from the rest of his teammates. If he plays tomorrow, I have no doubt that he will give a great performance. He is integrating very well, he does not look like he has been training for a month and he is trying to make his qualities available to the team. All those who are summoned tomorrow are very well" added the'former Spezia.
"I really liked the format from before, but so does this one. We will face a lot of different teams, so itò è even more beautiful and challenging, becauseè we can study and see a lot of different things. For the championship, I don’t think it affects much. We are only thinking about tomorrow" concluded Thiago Motta.
