Antonio Faravelli, with his Vitea Cellars and the historical brand Golf and Wine 1895, is increasingly making a name for himself in the fashion and beauty industry. Recently, during the 62nd edition of FILO, the International Yarns and Fibers Exhibition at Allianz MiCo in Milan, he participated in the "Creative Dialogues" space at a tribute to Rosa Genoni, a pioneer of textiles.

Journalist Elisabetta Invernici presented to the public, for the first time, an anthology of textile samples collected during Genoni’s career, donated in 1983 to the Galleria del Costume in Florence, which recently reopened after a period of renovation.

During the event, images of numerous textile samples of great historical value, preserved on sheets of tissue paper with precious notes and details, were shown. Invernici told the story of this extraordinary donation, dwelling on two iconic creations: the "Primavera" dress, inspired by the famous painting by Sandro Botticelli and presented at the Milan Expo in 1906, and the dress made for Carla Erba, worn at a family event in 1909. The latter was a source of inspiration for the stage costume worn by Claudia Cardinale in the film "Il Gattopardo", strongly desired by director Luchino Visconti, Carla Erba&#39s son.

The innovative creativity expressed in Genoni samples, thanks to the use of revolutionary techniques and surprising materials, is harmoniously intertwined with the olfactory and gustatory experience of the wines offered by Faravelli (immortalized here with Elisabetta Invernici and embroiderer Barbara Trestini Trimarchi) paying homage to art, fashion and the territory of the Oltrepò Pavese.
