Toprak Razgatlioglu gets right back to the front of the pack

Toprak Razgatlioglu (ROKiT BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team) is back in action in the MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship and he does it in style at MotorLand Aragon: after missing two Rounds due to injury, he starts from where he left off, that is, in front of everyone in the first session of the Tissot Round at Aragon and putting another BMW, that of Garrett Gerloff (Bonovo Action BMW), behind him, followed by two Hondas. Razgatlioglu had been declared fit for this weekend after a medical checkup yesterday morning: re-evaluated at the end of FP1, è fit for the entire Round.

Razgatlioglu on the’last launched lap places a 1’49.021: completes three runs and comes close to the record lap of 2023. Gerloff è second at 465 thousandths, seven thousandths better than Xavi Vierge (Team HRC). Honda’s weekend starts well with also the fourth time of Iker Lecuona (Team HRC). Fifth time for world champion Alvaro Bautista (Aruba.it Racing – Ducati) ahead of Andrea Iannone (Team GoEleven).

Iannone opens an all-Italian group: behind him, here Danilo Petrucci (Barni Spark Racing Team), Michael Ruben Rinaldi (Team Motocorsa Racing), Axel Bassani (Kawasaki Racing Team WorldSBK). Nicolò Bulega (Aruba.it Racing – Ducati) closes the top ten after missing the first quarter of an hour due to an electrical problem.
