Sinner reassembles Safiullin

After Nicolas Jarry, Jannik Sinner also overcame Russian Roman Safiullin in a comeback. In the match worth the round of 16 of the Beijing ATP 500, the world number one è won in three sets with a score of 3-6 6-2 6-3.

The match started immediately uphill for the South Tyrolean, who immediately lost his serve allowing his opponent to fly away in the score at 3-0. The blue doesn't take it and in the fifth game manages to recover the disadvantage, but in the sixth game Safiullin places another break, keeping it until the final 6-3.

In the second set, the world number one raises the level of his tennis and manages to break serve from his rival in the sixth game. The San Candido native continued to push and managed to close the score at 6-2 with another break, earning himself the chanceà to serve first in the decisive partial.

In the third set, Sinner immediately made the difference with a break and perfectly managed his own turnovers, closing the match at 6-3.

In the quarterfinals, Jannik Sinner will face Czech tennis player Jiri Lehecka, who defeated Spaniard Roberto Bautista Agut in three sets with a score of 3-6 6-2 6-1.
