Funny little joke at the end of the semifinals of the Beijing tournament, which saw Carlos Alcaraz prevail over Daniil Medvedev. The Russian himself revealed what he said to the Spaniard, causing him to burst out laughing.
"I told him that the next time we meet I will dye my hair blond and write; Botic on my jersey" explained Medvedev. The reference è to the Dutchman Botic Van de Zandschulp who defeated Alcaraz in the second round of the US Open.
Alcaraz, who qualified for the last act of the Chinese tournament, will face the winner of the challenge between world number one Jannik Sinner and the surprising Chinese Bo.
