It goes into the archives with three home wins and one away from home on Saturday in Serie B: taking the applause are Sassuolo, which demolished Cittadella with a 6-1 tennis-flavored victory, Pisa, which retains the top spot in the standings by beating Cesena, Spezia, which narrowly overcame Reggiana, and finally Carrarese, which returned to success by beating Frosinone away from home.

At the Mapei Stadium in Reggio Emilia, the balance between Sassuolo and Cittadella actually lasted 45' as the 1-1 at halftime was the result of the neroverde lead by Mulattieri on 4' and Vita’s equalizer on 17'. In the resumption, Fabio Grosso’s men showed their muscles and took the lead: scoring Volpato at 55', Thorstvedt on a penalty kick at 63', Pierini at 68', Laurienté from the penalty spot at 72' and finally again Thorstvedt at minute 83. Also noteworthy is the return to the field of mimmo Berardi, who plays the last 16' più recovery thus finding the field seven months after the serious injury to the d'Achilles tendon.

Still, Pisa remains at the top of the standings, beating Cesena 3-1: Lind at 23' and Canestrelli at 38' steered the game to the Nerazzurri, an own goal by Daniele Donnarumma closed the accounts already at 55'. Only worth for goal difference is the HCL goal scored by Prestia at 76'.

Spezia climbs back to the second position after being overtaken overnight by Juve Stabia: the Aquilotti beat Reggiana 1-0, Francesco Pio Esposito deciding in the 36th minute. Closing the day&#39s review is the second win of the season for Carrarese, which had not celebrated three points since last Aug. 27: Cicconi's goal at 64' is worth the 1-0 in favor of the Apuans, who abandon the last place in the standings by moving up to the playout zone.
