José Mourinho explains the reasons for the Giallorossi’s bad night
The Portuguese technician is not hiding
He is not looking for excuses, José Mourinho, to justify the net 4-0 loss suffered by his Roma team in Udine. In a press conference, in fact, the Portuguese coach tried to explain the reasons for a night to forget, excluding external factors such as refereeing.
“When you lose 4-0 it is ridiculous to talk about the referee,” he said, “I think it would not even be fair to say we lost because of the referee, we simply paid for the mistakes we made. What did we miss? Udinese went ahead right away and were good at managing the game.”
“They have those who know how to gain time, those who hide the ball, then at the beginning of the second half they scored 2-0 from distance and it was practically over. However, there is no time for drama, on Thursday we are back on the pitch: let’s think about the Cup.”
