Eddie Irvine praises Ferrari: "Clear progress"
Eddie Irvine, present at Eicma 2024, took stock of Ferrari's season in Formula 1: according to the former Northern Irish driver, the Maranello-based team has made important strides in the 2024 World Championship.
"This year for Ferrari è it has been a season not bad or even good, but I think they have taken a step forward. For Ferrari è always very difficult, the whole team è in Italy, not è like the other teams that are all in England, Ferrari has its island in Italy and è much more difficult to impose".
"This year è however, it was good, Leclerc did a good job, Sainz did a good job, the team did not make so many mistakes, and the whole team è progressed".
Irvine then confessed his passion for Italy: "It's great I love Italy, I'm always around, but for vacations in the summer, I always come here. I love Santa Margherita, Portofino, Courmayeur, these are my favorite places".
