There was not only the three out of three of the Italians to record on Tuesday evening in the Champions League. In fact, the other six matches played provided plenty of emotions, starting with the challenge between Bayern and PSG, two teams coming off an unexceptional first part of the League Phase: the Bavarians were the ones to relaunch themselves definitively towards the playoff zone, winning 1-0 thanks to ex-Napoli player Kim Min-jae, who scored on 38'. Parisians in ten from 57' for the second yellow to Dembelé, the result will remain unchanged until the triple whistle.
The most resounding result è however, the one at the Etihad Stadium, where Manchester City, coming off a five-game losing streak and 0-4 against Tottenham, seemed to get back on track by going ahead 3-0 against Feyenoord, thanks to goals by Haaland on a penalty kick at 44', Gundogan at 50' and Haaland again at 53'. The Rotterdam team però reacted and in the last quarter of an hour went on a rampage: Hadj Moussa shortened the score at 75', seven minutes later è Gimenez rekindled hopes, at 89' Hancko made it 3-3 and threw Pep Guardiola’s team into a nightmare once again.
Tuesday's was also the night of the goleades: Atletico Madrid won 6-0 in Prague against Sparta (15' Alvarez, 43' Llorente, 59' Alvarez, 70' Griezmann, 85' and 89' Correa), Bayer Leverkusen won 5-0 against Salzburg (8' Wirtz on a penalty, 11' Grimaldo, 30' Wirtz, 61' Schick, 72' Garcia), Arsenal overwhelms Sporting 5-1 on the road (7' Martinelli, 22' Havertz, 46' pt Gabriel, 47' Inacio for the green-and-whites, 65' Saka on a penalty, 82' Trossard). Also clear in Barcelona’s victory over Brest: putting their signature on the 3-0 final were Lewandowski at 10', Dani Olmo at 66' and again Lewandowski at 92'.
