Fiorentina exaggerated: 7-0 to Lask

Fiorentina returned to success in the Conference League and did so in a big way. At the Franchi, in fact, the Viola thrashed Lask 7-0. A real goleada of Palladino’s men who sent in goal as many as 5 different players: Sottil, author of a double, Ikoné, Richardson, Mandragora and Gudmundsson. 

It took only 10 minutes for Fiorentina to take the lead: Parisi crossed for Sottil, who turned it into the cross with his left. On 22' came the hosts’ doubling with Ikoné who only had to push Kouam&eacute's assist into the goal. At the end of the first half Richardson dropped the hat trick with a precise header off Sottil&#39s free kick.

The same Sottil in the resumption signed his personal double and made it 4-0: first he kicked with his left but was bricked, then with his right beat Jungwirth. At 69' there's also glory for Mandragora who beats the guests's goalkeeper on the way out, after a nice exchange with Gudmundsson. With 8' to go, an unfortunate Stojkovic own goal propels the Viola to 6-0. At 85 Gudmundsson on a penalty kick made the final 7-0.

Thanks to this bombastic success, Fiorentina climbs to 12 points in the classic, which sees it momentarily in second place, behind only the leading Chelsea.
