It goes to Imoco Conegliano the all-Italian derby that assigned a place in the finals at the Women’s Volleyball Club World Cup being held in Hangzhou, China. Clean win for the girls led by coach Daniele Santarelli, who won 3-0 asserting themselves in each set with these partials: 25-23, 25-14, 25-23.

Pushing the Venetian team to success were mainly the performances of Isabelle Haak and Zhu Ting, each scoring 14 points, and Gabi, who scored 12.Sara Fahr, with 6 points, and Cristina Chirichella, who not only scored 5 points for her team, but also put up 3 walls, also did well.

On the other side, on the other hand, the outstanding performance, from the offensive point of view, of Paola Egonu, who finished the match as top scorer with 21 points to her credit, was not enough. Nika Daalderop scored 7, Myriam Sylla 6 and Anna Danesi 5. For the Consortium team there will be an opportunity, however, to play for third place in the 'finalina' against Praia Clube.
