Ducati questions Pecco Bagnaia: "No justification"

Pecco Bagnaia can not get out of the tunnel: also in Silverstone the Ducati centaur has strongly disappointed and after a gray sprint race fell in the Sunday race, confirming all the difficulties that have been plaguing him since’the beginning of the season. The pilot from Piedmont is not at ease on the GP25 and sees Marc Marquez getting further and further behind in the overall standings.

General manager Gigi Dall’Igna commented on Pecco’s delicate situation as follows: “There are definitely data, dynamics and situations that we will have to analyze in depth, it is not a done sentence, starting with Pecco’s difficult moment that today has experienced another negative Sunday and, let’s face it, even unlucky given the promising start of the race. No justification, everyone must do his part and everyone must feel responsible”.

“We must work together to solve and improve, feeling Team in the awareness of our strength with the humility of always. I am sure that it can only do us good to have struggled in the group against opponents who have returned competitive and are now ready to be protagonists again, with merit”.

Marc Marquez struggled but managed to take the podium: “For us it was a rather complicated Sunday, unusual, certainly not brilliant and underwhelming. However, it remains a valuable proof that of Marc, in difficulty but equally protagonist of a recovery that led him to a nice third place that today is worth so much considering also the luck of having taken advantage of a second start after the initial slip”.
