Monza announced in a statement on its official website that it has sold Georgios Kyriakopoulos to Panathinaikos outright. Here is the text of the statement.
“AC Monza announces that Georgios Kyriakopoulos transfers to Panathinaikos outright. Since his arrival in Brianza in summer 2023, the Greek outfielder has collected 65 appearances with 3 goals in the red and white jersey. Best of luck to Georgios on his new adventure!”
29 years old, Kyriakopoulos also played in Serie A at Sassuolo from September 2019 to January 2023 with 94 appearances and 2 goals among all competitions, and from January to June 2023 at Bologna with 12 appearances and 0 goals, before joining Monza. Now the return to his homeland.
