MotoGp, Nakagami forced to forfeit: replacement decided
MotoGp: Honda centaur Nakagami will be replaced by compatriot Tetsuta Nagashima
Takaaki Nakagami raises the white flag: the Japanese Honda centaur will not participate in the Thai Grand Prix. Coming out battered from the Aragon race, Nakagami had endured the pain to race in Motegi in front of his home crowd, but now has to stop after experiencing a tear in the extensor tendon of a finger.”
Nakagami, who will undergo surgery in the coming days, will be replaced in LCR Honda by compatriot Tetsuta Nagashima, who commented, “First of all, I hope Taka is okay and I hope he can return as soon as possible. I will try to do my best in his place for LCR Honda IDEMITSU Team and try to enjoy the race. I am looking forward to the GP this weekend. I really had a lot of fun at the Japanese GP and learned a lot. So, this weekend, I want to continue to do the same because I still have to learn a lot of things riding MotoGP.”
