Spezia closes the deal from'Atalanta: Vanja Vlahovic
Spice has found Francesco Pio Esposito’s replacement: Vanja Vlahovic. Through an official statement, in fact, the bianconero club announced the arrival on a dry loan from Atalanta of the young Serbian striker.
A class of 2004, who grew up in the youth ranks of Partizan Belgrade, it was with the Serbian team’s Primavera formation that the striker immediately managed to put himself on display, scoring an impressive 30 goals in 56 games. The move to Atalanta in the 2022/2023 season marked another turning point for him, leading him to become the star center forward of the Bergamo Primavera team, before landing, to the tune of goals and strong performances, at Atalanta Under 23, in Serie C.
The latter was the first team to have a successful season.
Here, in the past season, the Serbian center forward will collect 36 appearances, embellished by 22 goals and 7 assists, a haul that allows him to graduate as the top scorer of the Group A of Serie C.
A striker gifted with explosiveness, a sense of goal and great skills in attacking depth, Vanja Vlahović is one of the brightest prospects on the European scene, ready at the age of 21 to immediately put himself at the service of coach D’Angelo.
