Marco Legovich does not hide excitement and pride
Challenge with Pesaro opens championship for Giulians
It will be a debut in front of his own fans the one as head coach of Pallacanestro Trieste for Marco Legovich: during the presentation of the challenge against Pesaro, the coach of the Giulians did not hide his excitement for an important crossroads of his adventure in the basketball world.
“As a Triestine to be able to be head coach of this team, to be able to do it every day is a great honor and a source of pride,” he said. “Clearly it is something I carry inside me, this bond that has always united team and city. It’s up to us staff and team to win the support of our public day after day and create the atmosphere that over the years has been able to give us an important boost for the continuation of the championship.”
“We are all really very excited,” he went on to explain, “we are now very close to the first game. There is a great desire to take the field after so many months since the last official matches. On my part, on the part of the coaching staff, but it is a feeling absolutely shared by the whole team, there is impatience to find ourselves on the parquet, find our people again, hoping to start off on the right foot. Pesaro is an experienced team, very solid, that in preseason has already expressed a good level of basketball, challenging important teams from both the Italian and European scene. This will undoubtedly be a physical, tough game, in which on both sides of the court there will be a good amount of tension to shake off.”
