Parma working to fill the gap in attack: according to Sky Patrick Cutrone has overtaken the other forward candidates for a move to Emilia. The Como striker is available and would have already given the green light, although he is not yet the final choice of the Crociata club.

Cutrone after a season of ups and downs has ended up off the radar of coach Cesc Fabregas, who prefers another type of striker.

The door remains open for the alternative plan, Lucas Beltran. The Argentine also does not fit into Fiorentina coach Stefano Pioli’s plans; he prefers to stay in Europe and has rejected offers from Flamengo and CSKA Moscow. Only River Plate could convince him to return to South America. At the moment, Parma has not yet made a move for him.
